Revolution Gymnastics opened in April of 2008. After one year, our Level 8 made it to Regionals and medalled, and our Level 9 made it to Eastern Nationals and placed 3rd All-Around. Our Level 10 gymnast, Laura Kappler, competed on every event for The University of Missouri's(Mizzou's) gymnastics team in 2014-2015 season!
Our gymnasts learn all their optional skills in our gym, so there's no need to go to expensive camps to learn difficult skills. We have the ability to teach and train the most advanced skills.
Head coach and founder, Carly Cresswell has 35 years of experience with gymnastics of all levels. She is a United States Artistic Gymnastics(USAG) member who holds a Professional Gymnastics license, a USAG Safety certification, CPR, First Aid, and Child Abuse Prevention certifications.
She competed for ten years, and was a Class I, and Level 9/10 gymnast. In her second year of competition, she scored a 9.9 on the Floor Exercise, and set a state scoring record in New Mexico.
Throughout her career, Carly was taught by some of the top coaches in the country: Bela Karolyi protégé, David Ballard(Rowland Ballard, TX), Ed Burch(Gold Cup Gymnastics), and John Charzuk, and Joe Comacho(Albuquerque Gymnastics School). While at Gold Cup, she trained along side four Olympians- Trent Dimas, Lance Ringnald, Chainey Umphrey, and John Rothlisberger.
Prior to moving to Evansville, Carly coached compulsory Level 6, and upper level optional gymnasts in New Mexico and Colorado. During that time, she produced several state champions as well as winning teams. Using the best techniques from her coaches as well as her own personal experience in gymnastics, Carly and her coaching staff will get the best out of your child.
Revolution gymnastics is located at 1520
